Warren Wells (born November 14, 1942 in Franklin, Louisiana) is a former Americancollege and professional football player who played wide receiver for five seasons for the NFL's Detroit Lions, the American Football League's Oakland Raiders, and the NFL's Raiders. Wells is the all-time leading player in yards per catch among NFL and AFL players. He was an AFL All-Star in 1968.His professional career ended when he was convicted and received a lengthy prison sentence.
