tom: in 1977 i began a ph.d. at s. carolina. i came to usc from
walnut creek near san francisco. we met, as i recall, at a
restaurant in or near your apartment building in columbia. i
worked nearby at a restaurant named hudson's in the picricorn
house. we hung out now and then. i did not stay at usc and did
not think to get a number from you. i was just shopping on line
for a usc shirt and thought of you, as i have occasionally over
the years. i thought it would be interesting to say hello in the
event you might remember me. i know that is a long shot after 30
years, but i have some nice memories of usc and you were one of
